Side Bar
30-50 Guests
Set alongside the main bar, the Side Bar is a relaxed, semi-private space for smaller events and celebrations. With a serving window connecting directly to the bar, plus its own pool table and sports screens, the space gives your group a dedicated area while keeping the atmosphere of the hotel close by.
Suited to birthdays, after-work drinks and work functions, it's an easy option for groups looking for something more considered than a table booking without the formality of a private function room.
Barrel Room
Up to 80 Seated | 120 Cocktail
Our dedicated private function space, the Barrel Room offers the flexibility to host everything from seated dinners to cocktail parties and larger celebrations.
With its own private bar, flexible room layouts and space for a dance floor, the room can be tailored to suit the style of your event. Complimentary TV and PA facilities are available, along with the option to play your own music, making the Barrel Room well suited to milestone birthdays, engagements, corporate events and private dining.
Large Event Space
Up to 200 Guests
For larger occasions, the Barrel Room, Restaurant and Beer Garden can be combined to create an expansive event space for up to 200 guests, flowing between interconnected indoor and outdoor areas.
The spaces can be closed off from the front bar to create a more private setting, with a dedicated bar, private amenities and the option of a separate entrance. With the flexibility to accommodate different layouts and styles of event, it's an ideal setting for corporate parties, weddings, milestone celebrations and large social gatherings.

Yes. Celebration cakes are welcome by prior arrangement with our events team. Please let us know when making your booking so we can help prepare for your celebration.

Deposits are fully refundable for cancellations made seven days or more before your event. Cancellations made within seven days receive a 50% refund, while cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will result in the full deposit being forfeited.

Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than seven days before your event. This will be the minimum number used for catering and billing purposes.

Yes. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. Menu selections and dietary requests should be confirmed prior to your event.

All food and beverages consumed during your function must be supplied by Clifton Hill Hotel unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Yes. Decorations are welcome but must be approved by our team in advance. Confetti, open flames and any items that may damage the venue are not permitted unless prior approval has been given.

Yes. External suppliers, including entertainment and AV providers, must be approved by Clifton Hill Hotel before your event. Please note that live music is not permitted after midnight unless prior approval has been granted, and additional conditions may apply.

Setup and pack-down times will be arranged with our events team before your function. Events must conclude at the agreed finish time, and additional charges may apply for overtime.

From cocktail celebrations to seated dinners, our food and beverage packages offer plenty of flexibility to create an event that suits your guests and the occasion.
Choose from handcrafted canapés, substantial bowl food, grazing boards and seasonal set menus, paired with beverage packages, a customised bar tab or cash bar. Dietary requirements can also be catered for with advance notice.
