Welcome to our pub
We’re a family-run, independent Hotel, where great beer and good vibes come together. Nestled inside the pub building, our microbrewery is the heart of everything we do.
Our beers are inspired by the local area, with favourites like the Queens Parade Pale leading the way. Hungry? We’ve fired up the wood oven to bring you mouth-watering pizzas and perfectly cooked steaks in our award-winning restaurant.
Whether you’re here for the beer, the food, or just a classic Melbourne pub experience, we can’t wait to welcome you. Everyone’s invited.

Formerly the Clifton Hill Brewpub
We’ve gone back to our roots and renamed ourselves the Clifton Hill Hotel. Why? We think it reflects what we’re about – being a reliably good pub with great food and our community at the heart of things, as it has been since 1884.
Our brewery is still central to everything we do (literally, sitting in the centre of our pub!) and with a wide variety of beers on tap we’re here for the beer lovers.

Pale Ale (5.2% abv)
Clifton Hill American style Pale Ale boasts big tropical pine & citrus hop aromatics with a solid malt backbone to balance an assertive bitterness. We dry hop this beer twice to maximise the intense hoppy aromas that climb their way out of the glass.
Dark Ale (5.0% abv)
GOLD MEDAL AIBA 2019 – Our signature Dark Ale (now in cans!) gives off aromas of freshly roasted coffee, dark chocolate & sweet grain. Featuring roasted & caramel malts balanced with herbaceous European noble hops. Finishes dry so you can come back for more.
Irish Red Ale (4.4% abv)
Clifton Hill Brewpub Irish Red Ale is full of toffee & biscuit aromas & flavours. We pour this beer with nitrogen to give it a full creamy mouthful. Finishes smooth with a hint of roast malt. try it today!
Queens Parade Pale Ale (4.5% abv)
An Australian style Pale Ale that’s a bit more laid back than its American counterpart. We’ve actually honed the recipe to make this beer something that keeps you interested without blasting your taste buds. Hoppy, sessionable & refreshing.
India Pale Ale (6.4% abv)
Big & bold, our American style IPA (India Pale Ale) has a huge punch of resinous & tropical aromas which lead into a medium body balanced perfectly against a strong bitterness. We pack this beer with kilos of late addition hops to make this an IPA that takes no prisoners.
